And not even that: we cannot adjust our behavior without getting to the underlying level of our assumptions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>So there is little point in trying to work on people's behaviour. It makes much more sense to talk to people about the assumptions that lead to this behaviour<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Awareness gives choice.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Only those who know their assumptions can question them, change them if necessary and open up perspectives that would otherwise remain hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the circle cannot be resolved, the following questions may help:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What would happen if you stayed with your assumptions for the next two years?&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What would happen if you let go of your beliefs?&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What if you changed your beliefs to the opposite?&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cBetween stimulus and reaction lies a space.
